About the job

• Develop new & improved products to meet the agreed brief, (value creation, improved COGS, regulation, and Danone Standards) and meet the agreed timeline. Scope includes NPD projects and secure supply, and productivity projects.
• Support Line Manager in Plant Validation (Factory Trial Run) both NPDs & improvement of existing product.
• Manages the preparation prototype sample both of Lab Scale,R&I Pilot plant  Scale.
• Provide strong support by rightly executing all activities assigned in product development including formulation development, pilot & plant trials, shelf-life study, sensory evaluation, technology transfer and R&D documentation (specifications, protocols, reports etc.) including preparation for FDA registration.
• Support Line Manager in competitors analysis, ie. Keep up to date with the R&I trends, competition, and technical development to create products that are competitive and cost-effective.
• Lead PSQC & renovation project (Low-Medium complexity) assigned by Line Manager.
• Supports Quality System ISO 9001, HACCP and ISO 14001.
• Work closely with other cross-functional teams i.e. Purchasing, QFS. Ops, Warehouse as well as regulatory team, marketing team and Strategic & Insight team in effective execution of tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering or other related fields.
• At least 5 years in R&D or related fields (Product Development of Food products and/or Nutritional products would be an advantage.)
• Good command of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge in product development, Sensory Evaluation techniques and Regulations, Dairy Ingredients, Food Ingredients and Nutrition.
• Experienced in product design with complete & balanced nutrition would be a plus.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
