ABOUT THE JOB 

 

At Danone we are seeking an experienced and agile Senior Brand Manager (SBM) – Karicare ANZ to drive sustainable, profitable growth in alignment with our internal business goals. This full-time permanent role reports to the Head of Marketing. This role will give you an exciting opportunity to take full ownership and responsibility for the brand. You’ll define and execute end-to-end brand strategy and activation plans, while using your leadership skills to manage and develop a team and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Strategic Brand Development & Execution – lead strategic brand development as well as drive excellence in execution of the brand strategy in key communications and across priority media channels, partnering with the agency village to bring integrated & high-impact marketing campaigns to life.
  • Portfolio Management & Project Management – Define the portfolio strategy & 3-year innovation pipeline anchored in consumer insights, trend and market dynamics as well as end to end management of complex and critical innovation projects.
  • Analysis, Measurement & Insights – Analyze data and trends, uncover insights, prioritise growth opportunities with clear measurement of impact
  • Stakeholder Management drive strong and seamless cross-functional collaboration, influence multiple teams, and manage regional and global stakeholders.
  • Financial Management – Manage brand budget, forecasting, reallocation of resources and analyze and optimize P&L for sustainable growth
  • Lead Key Business Processes - manage key demand, supply, and execution processes as well as deliver compelling presentations to a wide range of stakeholders

 

 

About you

ABOUT YOU 

 

You have prior experience working in Marketing within the FMCG or Healthcare industry. You possess natural leadership with the ability to foster strong relationships, influence teams as well as coach and mentor a high performing team. You balance creativity with an analytical and commercial mindset and have the agility and ability to work through high levels of ambiguity and complexity.

 

Ideally you will have:

  • Strong marketing experience (preferably FMCG or Healthcare), with 1 plus year in a Senior Brand Manager role.  
  • Proven track record of leading brand strategy, positioning and key initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven track record of successful project leadership/management and stakeholder management
  • Experience working with media & creative agencies in the delivery of multi-channel communication campaigns. 
  • Extensive experience working within an NPD Stage Gate process, from ideation to execution. 
  • Experience with and full understanding of P&L  
  • Experience using research and data for meaningful inputs to strategy or to drive key business decisions 
  • Previous exposure to retailer presentations and engagement ideal but not mandatory 
  • Experience with team management, coaching and development
