About the job

The Senior Strategy & Insights Manager will be part of the Benelux SIA (Strategy, Insights & Analytics) team & broader BNL marketing community, working on the EDP (Essential Dairy & PB) category in The Netherlands, and will report to the Head of Strategic planning & foresights. You will be responsible for bringing consumer centricity at the heart of how the business is driven, thanks to relevant and actionable insights, strategic thinking, and strong business partnering skills.

As Senior Consumer Market Insights manager, you will be responsible for bringing consumer centricity at the heart of how the business is driven, thanks to relevant and actionable insights, strategic thinking, and strong business partnering skills.

As Insights Manager, your role will be to…

- Plan, develop and execute research plans grounded in profound understanding of the business challenges and opportunities.

- Integrate and triangulate data and insight from multiple sources, bringing the outside-in, injecting/ feeding consumer insights across different areas of the business (brand, product, communication, innovation, packaging, channel, shelf …).

- Transform data and information into clear, actionable, and impactful insights, making clear business recommendations utilizing best in class “story telling” and engaging communication.

- Overlay current and emerging (3-5yr) trends & foresights to craft and prioritize new growth platforms, to inspire new brand, product and experience ideas.

As Strategic Business Partner, your role will be to…

- Partner with topline teams (marketing, category management, sales, R&I, …) across the business to build category, portfolio, and brand strategies to identify future category landscape and quantified future sources of growth rooted in strong consumer and customer insight.

- Able to lead & facilitate cross-functional workshops.

- Support the teams throughout the annual business growth agenda (AOP, ICP, Business Reviews, …).

- Influence stakeholders by actively and persuasively representing the consumer & shopper dynamics to drive impactful decision-making.

About you

 

You have around 7-10 years of experience with the following: 

  • profound experience in market research.
  • profound project management skills with start-to-end project ownership, being agile, always looking for the best possible solutions for ST & LT impact and foster excellence in execution in a complex environment.
  • Possess expertise in extracting insights, transforming complex data into actionable business recommendations & drive impactful decision making.
  • Act as a trusted partner with a demonstrated ability to effectively interface and build alignment with individuals and teams at multiple levels within a company, including the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Has profound business acumen, understands financial metrics, P&L and business way of working.
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, with ability to tailor to various audiences.
  • Is a real team player, inclusive and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Has a fluent level of Dutch and English. French is a plus.
