Job Summary

The Senior HR Manager will act as a liaison between the Global Operations and Procurement HR teams and the local Buying Desk operations and Integrated Planning center.

 

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between global HR teams and local operations.
  • Partner with business leaders for man-power planning & talent needs identification in line with functional goals.
  • Build the team for Global procurement desk working out of India, by partnering with the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Collaborate with agencies and universities to set up effective recruitment strategies; attract, recruit and retains talents.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives, such as employer branding campaigns for Danone in India.
  • Coordinate with Global and local HR teams to design and implement effective Talent Management and Capability building strategies and interventions.
  • Ensure the provision of proper HR services, including contracts, payroll, and integration with IT systems, compliant with local legislation.
  • Ensure implementation of relevant HR Policies.
  • Drive Employee Engagement practices including Engagement Surveys and Employee Connects.
  • Advise global HR teams on local HR practices and regulations.
  • Advise on organization design and offer solutions to mitigate tax risks in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Support the local HR teams on various projects.

About you

  • Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a global setting.
  • Strong understanding of local HR practices and regulations in India.
  • Experience in building employer branding campaigns and recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams, including Finance and third-party agencies.
  • Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • MBA in HR from Tier 1 (IIM, XLRI, SCMHRD, SIBM, MDI, TISS) will be preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience as HR generalist / HRBP. HR Generalist experience with Global teams and Corporate Operations functions will be preferred.
