We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive team player to join us as a Customer and Shopper Marketing Executive on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a large global FMCG company. You will work closely with senior leaders in channel and category management, gaining valuable cross-functional exposure to the world of sales and marketing.

 

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Customer Marketing and Channel Development: Facilitate brand and channel execution process, liaise with key account teams to customise POS suites for various channels (pharmacy, grocery or independent channels), and maintain the promotional calendar.
  • Shopper Marketing and Pharmacy Education: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop educational materials and collaborate with the pharmacy category manager to support trade shows and conferences.
  • Category Management support- Support category managers in measuring the effectiveness of in-store campaigns and test-and-learn initiatives and assist with ad-hoc reports.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage Point of Sale (POS) Trade Marketing materials within budget, oversee trade marketing spend, process purchase orders and vendor invoices, ensure sustainable practices, and recommend improvements for reinvestment opportunities.

About you

Your innovative approach and enthusiasm make you a valuable team player who is excited to take on new challenges and drive results.

 

Ideally you will have:

  • 6-12 months of experience within a consumer health or FMCG business as a Business or Category Analyst, Field-Based Salesperson or Graduate Recruit.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A tertiary education (degree in business, marketing, commerce, healthcare or nutrition preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple deliverables and stakeholders within tight timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
