At Danone, the vision of the Strategic Insights & Analytics (SIA) department is to inspire and provoke sustainable competitive growth, rooted in Human Insights & Analytics.

In this role, you will inspire, shape and influence the strategy of Medical Nutrition categories & global brands (with focus on Paediatric Specialties), will changing the way we look at and use insights. You know the difference between a great insight and a powerful insight and how to translate this into our business model.

 

This role focusses on our crucial category within our Specialized Nutrition business unit, reporting to our global Head of Strategic Insights and Analytics in Paediatric Specialties.

Together with & supported by the Head of SIA, your mission is to unlock category and brand opportunities, through insights and foresights: you will help build better value propositions and develop business growth opportunities through a deep understanding of Health Care Practitioners (HCPs) as well parents, patients and carers for the Medical Nutrition categories with focus on Paediatric ones: Allergy & Challenged Growth.

 

You are obsessed about HCPs and parents & patients’ insights, and you inject that obsession across all layers of our organization and across all value propositions (innovation, content, activation, service). You know that parents of children with challenged nutritional journeys as well HCPs face challenges and experience various unmet needs - you put those needs at the heart of our engagement, you bring a strategic perspective with an integrated point of view, using multiple sources of information, across brands.

You will collaborate with local markets, seek for synergies and pilot new solutions. You are the voice of our target audiences, and you are not shy to make this voice be heard in the organization.You will interact with Global and Local Marketing, Medical & Nutritional Science and Research & Innovation teams, from managers to VP's: challenging, innovating, convincing and finding alignment when needed.

 

Main Responsibilities & KPIs:

  • Cobuild & implement the learning roadmap for Allergy & Challenged Growth categories:
    • Recommend the best learning plan & execute research projects (quali & quanti) to strengthen insights internally on categories and brands, to drive business growth and identify opportunities
    • Identify where to play along the patient journey, against which directions and which alternatives.
    • Develop growth platforms founded in parent’s, patient’s and HCPs jobs to be done, pains and gains.
    • Foster strong collaboration with local SIA partners to maximize synergies, supporting in definition of methodologies and action standards for local projects.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Proactively align and engage cross-functional stakeholders on the above insights & foresights to ensure strategies and initiatives are grounded in deep human insights.
  • Be the voice of people that we serve: bring parents and HCPs voice to cross functional partners, ensuring people centricity across the organization.
  • Innovative & Agile approach: Be curious & proactively Explore new solutions and research methods, fostering best practices with local markets.
  • Team contribution to maximize the SIA impact: Be an active member of SIA community to elevate Insights function.

About you

What do you need be successful in this role? 

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you have to have strong expertise in insight and foresight in consumer goods and/or pharmaceutical industry, ideally also experience with professional audiences. We are looking for candidate with more than 6 years’ experience, with track record in driving and committing high level stakeholders into insights and in transforming insights into growth opportunities. Our ideal candidate loves directly engaging with consumers, launching test & independently analyzing the output. If you enjoy being actively involved and ‘getting your hands dirty’ rather than depending only on the agency reports, this position is perfect for you.

You are passionate about the target audiences, and you know how to translate that into business opportunities. You are eager to inspire and influence those around you. You are comfortable navigating in a matrix organization & breaking the silos. You have a strong appetite for innovation and challenge ways of working. This role requires agility and strong can-do mentality, but also the ability to build trust and think strategic.
