About the job
Technical Support to Dairy Farmers
- Primary guarantor of the profitability of Danone’s partner farmers, ensuring the security of raw milk volumes and the sustainability of farms.
- Ensure regular follow-up of dairy farmers affiliated with Danone through group training and individual monitoring (80 farmers) at farm level, covering zootechnical and economic aspects of farm management.
- Provide training to dairy producers on raw milk quality and Good Hygiene Practices (milking and milk storage).
- Ensure regular reporting to the team leader, including activity reports and farmer audits.
- Develop an action plan and growth plan for each farm with individual follow-up.
Milk Quality Improvement
- Deploy hygiene and quality standards along the dairy chain (Farmers, collectors, collection centers).
- Monitor quality KPIs related to farmers, collection points, and Farmer Houses (germ count, protein rate, fat rate).
Development of the Farmer House (RMDE)
- Assist Farmer House Managers in recruiting new farmers in close collaboration with the Zone Manager.
- Assist the Farmer House Manager in recruiting and training new collectors.
- Support farmers in preparing files to obtain public subsidies as part of various dairy sector support programs.
- Train producers on good milk collection practices.
- Audit new farmers prior to integration.
- Build loyalty and strengthen relationships among stakeholders, including farmers, collectors, and Farmer House managers.
Dairy Business
- Ensure the upward flow of field information (lack of service, frustration, etc.) to improve team effectiveness and secure milk volumes.
- Ensure development of upstream milk production, including feed-related aspects and tracking KPIs to secure forage supply, positively impacting farmer profitability.
- Responsible for deploying, cascading, and monitoring (via KPIs) the strategy related to regenerative agriculture for farmers (animal health, animal welfare, nature/CO₂ footprint, circular economy…).
About you
Degrees & Training
- Minimum Bac+5 in Agriculture fields: Zootechnics, Veterinary studies, with strong expertise in cattle farming.
Experience
- 5 years in a similar role, with a strong ability to manage various types of farms.
