At Danone Mexico, we are looking for a Water Strategy Lead to drive our environmental management strategy and secure sustainable, safe, and climate-resilient operations.

Your Mission

• Ensure water availability and quality across all operational sites.
• Lead well drilling, boreholes maintenance and monitoring, and digitalization projects.
• Implement international standards and coordinate environmental audits.
• Mitigate water-related and environmental risks while maintaining strong relationships with authorities such as CONAGUA.
• Drive initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint (water, carbon, waste).
• Ensure compliance with regulations on waste, emissions, noise, and soil management.
• Deploy the SPRING2030 program (Launch Spring methodology) and connect 100% of wells to Danone’s digital platform by 2027.
• Be an active member of Danone international network of hydrogeologists.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology or related field.
• 5+ years of field experience.
• Strong knowledge of drilling, pumping tests, microbiology, and geophysics.
• Solid understanding of Mexican environmental regulations (NOMs, LGEEPA, LAN).
• Experience with audits (ISO 14001, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and GIS software (preferred).
• Recognized leadership, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel within Mexico and abroad.
