Location: Hoofddorp + Hybrid Working from home or one of our People Hubs in the Netherlands. The role is based in the Netherlands and not open for remote working.

We are seeking a Consumer Engagement Specialist to join our global team at Danone Place Amsterdam! Danone Place Amsterdam is the global head office of our Specialized Nutrition Unit where the global strategies are rolled out to the rest of the world.

 

We have a strong ambition for growth and are looking to step change our omni-channel presence. As a Global Consumer Engagement Specialist, you will support the further digital transformation of the Specialized Nutrition (SN) category with focus on Early Life Nutrition. 

 

About the job

 

As the Consumer Engagement Specialist, you will be working with multiple stakeholders within our wider Digital team but also Brand and Category, Strategy, Insights & Analytics, Medical on bringing together exciting projects to support the business objectives of the brands and the ambitious digital transformation agenda.

Your Mission 

  1. Consumer journey:  
  • Reinforce the global KPI digital framework to ensure consistent performance reporting of key campaigns 
  • Support on connecting with peer teams (Media, Search, Social, Data, Digital Product, DTC) to prepare for workshops and support the category with advice and solutions  
  • Document and create effective playbooks and trainings 
  • Support with best practices development from countries and globally  

 

  1. Social advocacy  
  • Develop and implement global social media strategies that promote our advocacy initiatives and amplify our brand's voice on key social issues.  
  • Support the creation of compelling content that aligns with our brand values and resonates with our target audience. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all social media platforms.  
  • Leverage peer-to-peer recommendations to enhance brand credibility and trust. Encourage satisfied customers to share their experiences and recommend our products/services to others.  
  • Understanding of community building strategies in social and owned platforms  
  • Monitor social media metrics and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns. Provide regular reports and insights to inform future strategies.  
  • Able to brief and monitor work with multiple external agencies to deliver effective global and local frameworks and activations  
  • Work closely with brand, media, PR, and Strategy, Insights & Analytics teams to ensure cohesive and integrated social media efforts. Collaborate with influencers and partners to expand our reach.

Sobre ti

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role on either agency or brand side and passionate about consumers and building consumer-centric experiences.  
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Experience with social advocacy and community engagement.  
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Passion for social advocacy and making a positive impact.  
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related field. 
  • Natural talent and interest to develop stakeholder management. 
  • Comfortable at dealing with corporate, and challenging situations/challenges. 
  • Team-oriented, hands-on, highly collaborative, and able to build cross-functional relationships. 
  • Fluent in English.
