Do you love supporting day-to-day facilities activities, and contributing to safety initiatives? Are you a proactive, enthusiastic, with great communication skills and have a passion for Facility or Safety Management? Then apply now and join our multi-cultural and highly engaged team as our new Facilities and Safety Management Intern in our Hoofddorp (DPA) office starting February/ March 2026.
In this internship, you will be part of the Danone Place Amsterdam (DPA) Facilities team. Our purpose is to create a safe, efficient, and engaging workplace for all employees. During this internship, you will collaborate with the Facilities and HSE teams, supporting a variety of initiatives. Your main responsibilities include:
- Review and improve Facilities work processes and systems setup
- Support Emergency Response Team coordination (BHV) and internal Safety training sessions
- Lead internal communications: create visuals, collate learning materials, and prepare presentations
- Coordinate events in the DPA office, including risk assessments and co-organise the 2026 Safety Day
- Manage reporting processes and document retention systems

Sobre ti
As a Facilities and Safety Management intern, proactivity and enthusiasm will be second nature to you. You can work independently and as part of a team and have strong communication skills. On top of that, you’re a self-starter who enjoys bringing new ideas to life, is comfortable in an international environment, and is always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.
There are also some compulsory requirements:
- Enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student in Facility Management, Safety Management, or a related field during the whole internship period.
- You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit)
- Ideally available to start in February/March 2026 for a minimum of 5/6 months, 4/5 days per week.
- You are fluent in English- spoken and written, Advanced level in Dutch.
- You are able to work from our Hoofdorp (DPA) office at least 4 days per week.
