YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE:

This internship will take place in Paris, at our global headquarters in 59 rue Lafayette, 75009 Paris, starting from July 2026. Specialized Nutrition Global Public Affairs Team, in the Global Public Affairs department, will guide tour through your day-to-day tasks and support your development throughout the internship.

You will contribute to strengthening Danone’s public affairs strategy for Specialized Nutrition (Medical Nutrition, Early Life Nutrition), with the following missions:

  • Support policy monitoring at EU and international level on topics related to medical nutrition, infant nutrition, health policy, and sustainability.
  • Draft policy briefs, analyses, and internal notes to inform decision-making within the Specialized Nutrition function.
  • Contribute to advocacy actions, including preparation of material for stakeholder engagement with EU institutions, trade associations, expert groups, and NGOs.
  • Support coordination with CBUs, helping collect market updates and feeding our global SN policy newsletter.
  • Assist in event preparation, such as conferences, workshops, parliamentary meetings, or international health events.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, notably those linking public affairs with sustainability, medical societies, regulatory teams, and marketing.

  • INTERNSHIP : Compensation from €1,300 (Bachelor's +4 and gap year) to €1,500 (Bachelor's +5) gross/month.

Sobre ti

For this position, we are looking for someone:

  • Available from July 2026 for a 6‑month internship
  • With a Bac+4/5 academic background in political science, public affairs, international relations, European studies, public policy, public health, or business school with a strong policy orientation
  • Organized, rigorous, proactive, and autonomous, able to manage multiple complex topics in parallel
  • With excellent writing and synthesis skills in both English and French, especially for policy and stakeholder‑facing materials
  • Deeply interested in EU public policy AND health policy, including:
    • nutrition and health systems,
    • medical nutrition,
    • early life nutrition,
    • regulatory frameworks (EU institutions, WHO, national authorities),
    • sustainability & societal impact
    • Motivated by advocacy and corporate engagement, with the ability to translate policy developments into actionable insights
    • Comfortable interacting with international teams, external stakeholders, and cross‑functional colleagues (regulatory, medical, communications, sustainability, CBUs)
    • Proficient in Office 365, especially PowerPoint & Excel
  • With an interest in policy research tools, evidence‑based analysis, monitoring platforms, and the broader health & nutrition policy ecosystem
