Fan Milk PLC is a looking for a qualified lawyer with extensive practice in Corporate and Commercial Law to join the team as the Legal Counsel. The role is responsible for enabling Fan Milk achieve its business objectives in a legally compliant way while unlocking commercial opportunity through good practice. The Legal Counsel will also be responsible for preserving value (financial and reputational) by minimising the risk of value leakage and litigation and maintaining compliance with laws and Danone's Codes.

In this role, you will report directly to the General Counsel & Company Secretary.  

• At least 5 years post qualification experience as a lawyer.
• Strong commercial law background especially in the negotiation and documentation of commercial contracts
• Strong, analytical, drafting and negotiating skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Open and outward looking attitude.
• Ability to work confidently and stand ground with more senior managers.
• Strong commercial and pragmatic approach.
• Knowledge of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) business environment
• Proficiency in French is an advantage.
