Are you a recent law graduate or paralegal looking to start your career in an international company? Do you want to work in a purpose-driven business that supports a healthier and more sustainable future? Danone is looking for a Paralegal / Junior Legal Counsel & Compliance to join our team in Riga.
As a key member of the Legal & Compliance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to compliance standards—particularly in relation to interactions with the healthcare sector—while also supporting on various legal matters. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Support compliance activities, especially related to working with healthcare professionals
- Manage contract signing and digital storage
- Help with corporate reporting and legal documents
- Draft and review documents like meeting minutes and powers of attorney
- Assist with legal and compliance audits
- Handle other legal tasks as needed
Sobre ti
- Law or paralegal degree from a Baltic country
- Up to 1 year of legal or compliance experience is a plus
- Fluent in Latvian and English
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive and eager to learn
- A team player with a business mindset
