The R2R Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting by managing closing activities, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits in compliance with accounting standards. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in accordance with company policies and timelines.
• Prepare and post journal entries ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other finance functions (AP, AR, FP&A) to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules, if applicable.
• Participate in ad hoc financial projects and analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in R2R or general accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
