Process Ownership:

• Planning, animation and monitoring of DBS Financial Control activities: pre-closing, closing, reporting
• Coordinate DBS and BU Finance to deliver an accurate and timely monthly closing process, including validation of all closing options: risks & ops, identification, accruals
• Work with the local users to resolve service issues, identify root causes and implement permanent solutions using sound business acumen and financial judgment in decision-making

Financial Reporting:

• Ensure compliance of financial statements with Group rules for management accounts and local rules for Statutory accounts
• Lead statutory audits and support internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal Danone policies.

Service Quality & Compliance:

• Maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices.
• Reinforce respect of R2R policies and guidelines by BU to ensure the quality and performance of R2R

Stakeholder Management:

• Ensure a strong collaboration between DBS, BU Finance and other departments
• Act as a key liaison between local finance and Global R2R Service Line

Continuous Improvement:

• Ensure a Continuous Improvement mindset for the R2R activities and identification of improvement opportunities and coordination with DBS Lead, Regional/Global R2R for their validation and implementation
• Contribute to solutions and projects: identify functional needs and priorities for DBS R2R systems in collaboration with the solution owner, monitor projects delivery, etc.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments, best practices and trends in R2R to bring leading edge expertise

Languages required:

• Fluent in English and Arabic

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a multi-national company in Record to Report, Financial Control, Finance department
• Strong knowledge of SAP
• Big 4 experience, CPA/ACCA will be preferred
• Competency in use of Microsoft Office 365

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
