The Regional Fleet Junior Manager drives the full mechanical and refrigeration maintenance function to ensure maximum fleet reliability, eliminate breakdowns, and guarantee uninterrupted cold‑chain distribution operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and maintain the mechanical systems of distribution trucks
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance plans aligned with daily delivery schedules
• Ensure high fleet availability to meet early‑morning and multi‑shift distribution operations
• Monitor and support refrigeration units to ensure cold‑chain continuity
• Analyze breakdowns occurring during routes and implement permanent solutions
• Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and warehouse teams
• Prioritize urgent repairs for in‑route or pre‑route failures
• Control maintenance costs while maintaining operational reliability
• Ensure compliance with safety, food quality, and hygiene standards
• Review maintenance reports and fleet performance KPIs
• Build, develop, and lead the maintenance team and technicians to ensure high performance and operational readiness
• Assess team skill gaps and create development plans, including on‑the‑job training and continuous technical improvement
• Define, implement, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for technicians and maintenance staff
• Track individual and team performance against agreed KPIs and operational targets
• Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and technical guidance
• Motivate technicians through performance recognition, engagement, and improvement initiatives
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 3–7 years of experience in truck, heavy vehicle, or fleet maintenance, preferably in FMCGs 
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, suspension, and cooling systems
• Hands‑on experience with trucks operating under intensive daily usage
