Danone MENA is looking for a highly dynamic Regulatory Affairs Manager for its Specialized Nutrition Business in the Middle East and North Africa region to be based in Beirut, Lebanon for a temporary 6 month period.

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will be responsible for acting as the interface between distributors/customers, manufacturing sources. They should be aware and alerted for any kind of changes/products updates (recipe, label, factory…) and part of Innovation discussion to prepare for new launches, by securing the license to operate.

About The Role:

1- Business Context and Key Challenges:

• Business covering Levant (Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Libya and part of the Maghreb portfolio).
• Maintain valid licenses, for business operation, and keep business running smoothly from the regulatory perspective.
• Maintain a harmonized portfolio with the rest of the region by ensuring timely registration at the health authorities.
• Be responsible of maintaining the regulatory folder updated and active.
• Conduct thorough review of labels taking into consideration the regulatory aspect of the claims and the legal entities.  

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:

Education & professional experience:

• 3-5 years experience in Regulatory Affairs.
• Educational background: Pharmacist or nutritionist.

Location:

Beirut, Lebanon

Languages required:

English, Arabic & French is a must.

• Good technical skills.
• Fast execution.

Mobility:

Candidates should be open to move within the region or outside the region with Danone in 3-4 years if such an opportunity will arise which will contribute to his/her career growth.
