Position Overview: Sales & Pharma Supervisor

Job Summary

Danone MENA is seeking a talented Sales & Pharma Supervisor to join its team in Chlef, Algeria!

This role involves responsibility for developing “Sales Out” in a defined geographic area. The holder ensures the effective implementation of field actions defined by management, animates and develops the skills of the sales team, and supports their professional growth.

Main Responsibilities

• Commercial Performance and Implementation: Ensure achievement of the zone’s Sell-Out targets, locally apply the company’s commercial policy and ensure execution of field actions according to management’s instructions, while respecting the established Way of Working.
• Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and support the development of the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skills growth.
• Partner Relationship Management: Maintain excellent relationships with commercial partners (distributors, wholesalers) to ensure sustainable and harmonious business development.
• Monitoring Objectives and Performance: Ensure achievement of KPIs (DN, PDL, PDO, etc.) and KBIs (Coverage, Synchro, etc.) for each sector in the area, closely monitoring the performance of sales promoters.
• Commercial Targeting and Growth Planning: Identify relevant commercial targets to develop the area, and set both individual and collective revenue growth objectives.

Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with the policy on breast milk substitutes and regulations governing the marketing of foods for infants and young children. 

Profile

• Holder of a university degree with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience in team management and distributor relations.
• Knowledge of different distribution channels. Strong negotiation, advisory skills, and a keen interest in challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mastery of sales techniques.
• Scientific affinity with pharmaceutical products.

Required Languages

• Fluency in Arabic, English, and French is essential.
