Reporting into the Sr Director Transformation, and key member of the Data, BI & Digitalization Excellence Hub, the Sr Manager – Data & BI Excellence is responsible for:

• Leading and developing the Data & BI team
• Defining, deploying, and animating Data & BI governance
• Delivering business-driven data and BI use cases
• Ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance across the organization
• Acting as a key interface between business teams, IT, and data owners

Scope & Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage a team of Data & BI profiles (BI developers, analytics translators)
• Define team priorities, workload, and delivery plans
• Develop team capabilities through coaching and continuous skill building
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and business orientation
• Implement best practices for delivery (Agile ways of working, BI standards, documentation)

2. Data & BI Governance

• Define, implement, and continuously improve Data & BI governance, including:
• • Data quality standards
  • Data ownership (data owners / data stewards)
  • BI standards (data models, KPIs, visualization guidelines)
  • Data access, security, and compliance
• Monitor and report on data quality, reliability, and adoption KPIs
• Partner closely with IT to ensure:
• • Robust data architectures
  • Reliable and scalable data flows
  • Alignment with enterprise and group standards

3. Business Use Cases & Value Delivery

• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders on Data & BI topics
• Collect, structure, and challenge business requirements
• Prioritize use cases based on business value, impact, and feasibility
• Lead the design and delivery of:
• • BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Advanced analytics and insights
  • Data-driven use cases (performance management, forecasting, ROI, etc.)
• Ensure delivered solutions are:
• • Adopted by business users
  • Easy to understand and use
  • Clearly value-generating

4. Digitalization roadmap

• Act as a leader to the Data & Digitalization roadmap
• Identify opportunities for data improvement, automation, and innovation
• Drive adoption of Data & BI tools and platforms (e.g. Power BI, data platforms)
• Participate in key governance and delivery forums:
• • Data & Technology councils
  • Project steering committees
  • IT / Data delivery and sprint reviews

• Strong expertise in Data Management and Business Intelligence
• Advanced proficiency in BI tools (Power BI or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of data architectures and system data flows

• Ability to structure, prioritize, and make decisions

Profile & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data, Analytics, IT, or a related field
• 5–8 years of experience in Data, BI, or Analytics roles
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership or people management
• Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments
• Strong ability to bridge business needs, data, and technology
