About the job

As a Tax Intern, you will contribute to various tax processes and projects for Danone’s global tax function. You will work with every member of the team and get a real flavor of what it is like working in-house as a tax specialist in an international fast paced setting.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Tax Research

· Assist the tax team with tax-related advisory

· Assist in preparing tax computations and modeling

· Help execute tax reporting, forecasting, analysis

Tax Projects

· Support various process improvements

· Assist in CIT, VAT and ESG projects

· Join tax automation and tooling initiatives

Transfer Pricing

· Assist with transfer pricing documentation

· Support transfer pricing monitoring and reviews

· Contribute to ad-hoc transfer pricing topics

Tax Controversy

· Assist in dealing with tax audits

· Preparation of tax defense files

As a Corporate Tax Intern, attention to detail and analytical skills will be second nature to you. You don’t mind a challenge and have a keen interest in increasing your tax knowledge in a business environment. On top of that, you’re proactive and always looking for opportunities to develop.

Furthermore, you should also be:

· Ready for a steep learning curve

· Have good communication and interpersonal skills

· Have interest in excel, tooling, systems and technology

What we ask:

· Enrolled (during the entire internship) as a Bachelors / Masters student in Tax Law, or in Finance, Economics, Accounting or any related fields

· (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);

· Ideally available to start in January 2026 for a period of 6 months, 3-4 days per week;

· You are fluent in English - spoken and written;

· You are able to work from Hoofddorp at least 2 times per week;

Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.
