As a Commercial Sales Support Specialist, you'll be a key player in our operations, supporting the Customer Business Team and Sales Planning Analyst. This role is essential for ensuring data accuracy in trade spend, creating customer contracts, and aiding in forecasting activities. Your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Trade Spend Support: Assist in managing trade spend by ensuring accuracy in data entries, deduction management, accrual reconciliation, and validating customer audits.
  • Forecasting Support: Assist in account planning activities using various trade tools.
  • Reporting Tools: Utilize reporting tools and Power BI for system monitoring and ensuring data accuracy.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide support in trade tools for key business planning processes, including short and long-term promotion plans and year-over-year planning.
  • Support audit compliance through governance of deal-sheet systems, Power BI audit compliance reporting, and collaboration with Internal Audit & Sales Finance
  • Use Power BI dashboards and Excel for reporting monitoring, system audits, and governance of the deal-contract process, including ensuring required attachments are maintained in the system.
  • Support S&OP and cross-functional teams with trade spend governance and account reconciliation.
  • Develop reconciliation skills while supporting the S&OP team, Sales Planners, and cross-functional partners on Xtel, deductions, and other trade spend initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with account documentation.
  • Validate customer audits.
  • Efficiency Initiatives: Contribute to team efforts focused on simplification, optimization, and harmonization of processes to drive efficiencies.

 

The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 CAD. The final salary offered will be determined by factors such as relevant experience and qualifications, internal equity and external market conditions.

A propos de vous

 

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience within the CPG industry or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with the ability to monitor reporting, identify data gaps, and translate findings into clear follow-up actions.
  • A strong understanding of audit compliance, system controls, and governance of the end-to-end deal-contract process, including document and attachment requirements.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with the ability to investigate variances, validate supporting documentation, and maintain accurate trade-spend information.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with S&OP, Sales Planning, Sales Finance, Internal Audit, Customer Business Teams, and other cross-functional partners.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A positive attitude, team spirit, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
