About the Job

This role involves managing the financials of two business units that have significant financial flows and capture a large part of the group's free cash flow. You will be the business partner for related projects of our business units, such as pricing, with other internal departments. You will also manage the financials of Dutch Holdings, a group of Dutch holding companies.

You will manage a team of 2 controllers, and your team will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the business units and preparing the Rolling Forecast for these entities. Your main responsibilities include:

• Financial consolidation of business units with input from various departments (Operations, A&P, Overhead, Central Business Services, Research & Innovation, CCO)
• Hedging foreign currencies
• Aligning with business units on financial models, intercompany transactions, free cash flow, and net cash receipts
• Tax accounting and other tax-related topics
• Signing off export documentation and internal contracts for the business units

In this role, you will report directly to the Company Holdings Controlling Director and join the new Performance & Controlling team. Meet your new manager! Your manager will be Li REN.

• To be successful in this role, you have a Business, Economics or Finance Master degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and/or controlling.
• You are a data-driven and logical mind someone who has excellent analytical skills (Office tools, PowerBI, Magnitude, Tagetik and other financial modelling methods).
• You have solid experience in partnering all ranks stakeholders in a complex matrix organization, strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical finance & data into understandable business insights.
• As a person, you will like working for Danone when you fit into a high paced and ever-evolving organization.
• You manage deadlines well and you can handle adapting to ad-hoc requests daily.
• You have a hands-on practical approach to providing guidance and direction in a challenging and dynamic business environment and you can influence, challenge and implement change.
• You are fluent in English, both in verbal and in writing. Dutch is considered beneficial given the landscape of the Dutch entities.
