Junior Communication Specialist (fixed-term contract until 31st of December 2027) 

Full-time, Location: Bulgaria, Sofia, hybrid
 
An Junior Communication Specialist supports the development and execution of internal and/or external communication strategies. The role focuses on creating content, maintaining communication channels, and ensuring consistent messaging across the organization.

YOUR responsibilities as a Junior Communication Specialist will include (but not limited to): 

Internal Communication: 

• Adapt and develop content to support internal communication activities, including announcements and employee engagement materials 

• Collaborate with external agencies to support the development and implementation of communication plans and campaigns 

• Create and edit content for multiple channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet, social media, and websites, in line with established guidelines 

• Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all communication materials 

• Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, business functions) to align communication efforts 

External Communication: 

• Support the organization and coordination of events, webinars, and communication initiatives 

• Monitor and manage social media platforms, including audience engagement 

• Track and analyze communication performance metrics (e.g., open rates, engagement), based on data provided by external tools and sources 

We are looking for a Junior Communication Specialist with the following profile: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English 

• Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience (previous internship or project experience in communications, marketing, or related fields) 

• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks 

• High attention to detail and accuracy 

• Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital communication tools 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 

• Creative mindset with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn 

• Experience using content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar – nice to have)
