In this internship, you will be part of the Global Legal team for Procurement, Operations and Sustainability, within our global legal function. Our purpose is to legally protect Danone’s assets and reputation to support sustainable growth. During this internship, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Supply chain & Operations, and other global functions, and support on legal aspect of business projects.

Your main responsibilities include:

•    Help implement and/or monitor and enforce policies and guidelines, including Danone’s global contract policy and legal guidance for procurement categories
•    Contribute to roll out project governance initiatives and contract portfolio management
•    Support procurement-related projects on legal aspects, including content review, drafting and process compliance
•    Conduct legal research on specific legal topics and prepare summaries for internal stakeholders
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal protection & compliance 

During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in supporting global procurement and operations matters within an international environment, while developing practical skills in contract management, legal research, compliance, stakeholder collaboration, and project governance.

Your manager will be Selen Ceyhan, Senior Legal Counsel, Industrial & Manufacturing.

As a Legal intern, analytical thinking and attention to detail will be second nature to you. You can conduct thorough research, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively. On top of that? You’re a proactive and curious learner who thrives in an international environment.

Key requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's or Bar School student for the entire duration of the internship.
• Enrolled in a program related to contracts & business law or a strong interest in the topic
• Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
• For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
• Available to start on the 1^st of January for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Able to work from our Danone Place Amsterdam office in Hoofddorp at least 2 days per week.
