About the Job

 

As Packaging Manager in the Global Packaging R&I Adult team, you will be working across multiple innovations projects which reflect Danone Specialized Nutrition’s packaging strategy within the plastic liquid packaging category for Adult and specialized medical purposes.

In this role, you will act as a project member or project leader within cross functional teams. You will work on consumer driven packaging developments from packaging brief until implementation.

You will be working with multiple stakeholders both internally (Project teams realizing NPD projects; Marketing; Procurement; Factories, Supply Chain, Quality; Central & local Packaging teams) and externally.

Your responsibilities

· Support the organization as project member or project leader in new plastic packaging projects from definition, concept and technical development to implementation on production lines.

· Leverage design thinking principles to help quickly identify and validate solutions via rapid prototyping and qualitative testing.

· Work in close collaboration with other teams to deliver on Danone’s decarbonization commitments, as well as assure effective delivery on other project KPI’s.

· Work closely with supply points, internal and external technical partners to support the landing of new packaging innovations.

· Support our packaging innovation roadmap with creative, innovative approaches to breakthrough barriers and challenge conventional thinking. Be a change engine.

A propos de vous

We are looking for an experienced packaging engineer with:

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering, Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, Technology or similar discipline.

· At least 3 years of experience in packaging development, preferably in plastics manufacturing technologies for liquid packaging.

· Creative ability balanced with technical knowledge: Working with a holistic packaging design principle, experienced in delivering consumer driven packaging projects from brief to technical development and validation on Industrial production lines.

· Experience in design thinking application and human centric design.

· Experience and a hands-on approach in working on testing and validation of packaging developments, both on existing and new production lines.

· Good problem solving skills, determined to achieve the end result with high quality standards, while being an outstanding Team player and with optimism and enthusiasm when things do not go to plan.

· Preferably capabilities on 3D CAD software, SolidWorks.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ideally, you have experience working in a cross-functional and highly international environment.
