ABOUT THE JOB

 

Danone is seeking a passionate and driven Senior Brand Manager (Paediatrics) to lead strategy, marketing, and innovation across our Paediatric specialty portfolio (Allergy, Faltering Growth, Metabolic). In this permanent role, reporting to the Head of Marketing-SN Healthcare, you will manage three direct reports, develop and execute annual business plans, champion digital transformation, and lead a high-performing team. Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Medical, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners, you will deliver impactful marketing initiatives that support exceptional patient outcomes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of strategy and annual business plans for the Paediatric specialty portfolio, based on robust analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Drive digital transformation and multichannel engagement with Healthcare Practitioners and Patients.
  • Plan, activate, and evaluate marketing initiatives, measuring impact on sales and ROI.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Legal & Regulatory to develop claims and communication strategies tailored to HCPs and patients.
  • Conduct market research and field visits to understand external landscape and inform strategy.
  • Manage external agencies for campaign development and execution.
  • Lead participation in industry conferences across ANZ.
  • Manage, coach, and develop direct reports, defining roles and KPIs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clarity on execution roadmaps.
  • Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and execute the innovation pipeline, working with local and global colleagues.
  • Lead pricing strategy and A&P budget management, developing business cases for new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with supply and demand planning teams to develop forecasts and identify risks/opportunities.
  • Lead and coach sales specialists to deliver sales targets.

You are a strategic and collaborative marketing professional with a passion for healthcare and patient outcomes. With experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or FMCG environments, you thrive on leading cross-functional teams, driving innovation, and building strong relationships. You’re analytical, proactive, and confident managing brands and influencing stakeholders. Your ability to balance visionary thinking with pragmatic execution makes you a valuable contributor to a purpose-led organisation like Danone.

 

Ideally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Brand/Marketing management within pharmaceutical, medical, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record in healthcare-related marketing.
  • Extensive experience in brand planning, innovation, and leading cross-functional groups.
  • People management and digital marketing experience.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Positive, curious mindset with strong initiative and drive.
  • Flexible, adaptable personality, able to cope with changing situations.
