This is Permanent Position, working Tuesday - Saturday from 9:00am to 5:30pm, 40 hours per week.

We have a fantastic new opportunity for the Senior Analyst Chemistry to be part of our fun-loving and dynamic Quality and Food Safety team. Your key responsibility in the role is to promote Quality and Food Safety within Danone manufacturing by efficiently delivering trusted harmonized testing for the business  

Reporting to the Team Leader - Chemistry you will be part of the Lab Chemistry team with a focus on completing assigned testing as per approved methods. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Lead test scheduling and testing for chemical, physical property and sensory properties on dairy based Danone products
• Follow approved methods and ensure traceable and accurate and precise testing results on time
• Adhere to ISO 17025, MPI RLP and corporate standards
• Support verification of chemical and physical test methods
• Lead technical risk assessments and complete CAPA

You are a focused chemistry senior analyst with at least 5 years testing experience of working in a Chemistry Laboratory as key technical personnel. You are a great team player and enjoy working within a laboratory environment. You have proven experience in delivering results with a continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.

To be successful you will also have: 

• Tertiary qualification in Chemistry 
• At least 5 years’ working in a ISO17025 accredited Chemistry Laboratory 
• Experience with nutrient and physical properties testing of dairy nutritional powders and complex matrices 
• Experience with Microsoft suite especially Excel  
• Ability to work with shifting priorities  
• Proficiency in risk assessment and CAPA
