Nutricia Research Centre for Specialized Nutrition (SN), located in the Utrecht Science Park in the Netherlands is a state-of-the-art Life Science innovation center for the development of new product concepts for Specialized Nutrition. We create formulas that provide clinically substantiated health benefits to vulnerable consumers – infants, toddlers, elderly and patients.  

The SN Research & Innovation (SN R&I) division is looking for a User eXperience Superiority Data Analyst Intern to accelerate the UX transformation and bring the user voice into our business. It is a great opportunity for someone wishing to join a dynamic community, to act as a catalyst of a consumer centric organization and drive consumer empathy. 

Our dynamic UX community, with more than 100 collaborators across the world, has for main mission to embody the user voice to inspire and co-design awesome food experiences that people will adopt. We work in a multi-disciplinary business environment, to understand consumer’s behaviors and expectations and design products and packaging. We partner with leading edge scientists and agencies to build a competitive advantage for Danone. 

 

Your main responsibilities  

Are you passionate about turning data into impactful decisions? As a User eXperience Superiority Data Analyst Intern, you’ll be at the heart of our Superiority program— reporting on our portfolio’s performance and bringing the user voice into the superior design. You will focus on translating business questions into analysis plans and generating insights, and on data management and visualization. You’ll build automated dashboards, deliver insightful reports, and conduct meta-analyses to drive business impact. As a business-to-data translator, you’ll enable scalable data integration and analytics solutions to support strategic decisions. You’ll report to the User Experience Decision Scientist —collaborating closely with experts across UX, sensory, and data science. The main missions are to:  

 

•  Maintenance and creation of dashboards for internal stakeholders to communicate on program KPIs, test results and global and category action plans. Ensure that data-driven recommendations are practical and aligned with business needs, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency, putting results into business context. 

 

• Conduct statistical analyses and meta-analyses to translate business challenges into actionable insights.

 

• Data governance and management: documentation and data dictionary, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for the Superiority program.

 

• Improve and maintain superiority metadata for data integration and quality, liaise between Digital and Superiority teams.

 

• Support driving innovative data science, advanced analytics and AI solutions that power UX SN digital, product innovation and data-driven decision.

A propos de vous

In this role you will be an enabler of the superiority acceleration and interface with mainly UX teams across all SN categories and capabilities. You fit perfectly because: 

 

• You are a Master’s student in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or similar, with an expertise in programming (SQL, Python, R), and BI tools (Power BI).  Experience with sensory or consumer data applications, medical nutrition or FMCG research, is a bonus.

 

• You are business oriented and results-driven with an insights mindset, able to translate business challenges into research questions and analysis plans.

 

• You take a particular interest in reporting and you have a passion for data and creativity in statistical analyses; strong sense of user-friendly data management and attention to detail.

 

• Experience with Databricks, Azure, Github, Jira and Confluence would be an advantage.

 

• You have solid experience of collaborative working, with strong inter-personal skills for dealing with a variety of people (profile and seniority level), and ability to work independently. You have the flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity.  

 

• You are fluent in English, and international experience is a bonus.

 

• You have a passion for bringing the voice of the users into the design of our products.

 

Key requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in September 2026 for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 2-3 days per week.
