Are you passionate about public policy and eager to grow within an international FMCG company? Danone is looking for a Public Affairs Analyst (VIE) to join our EU Public Affairs Office in Brussels. This mission is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to become operational in the field of public affairs and build a solid foundation for your future career. 🚀
What You'll Do:
As part of the EU Public Affairs team, you will support Danone’s engagement with EU institutions and stakeholders, while developing your analytical, communications, and organizational skills. 📊🗣️📅
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Intelligence Gathering: Monitor and analyze key public policy dossiers relevant to Danone’s business and prepare regular reports. 📑
- Advocacy Strategies: Contribute to the development and implementation of impactful public affairs strategies across key policy areas. 🗳️
- Stakeholder Engagement: Support the organization of public engagement opportunities with EU policymakers and other stakeholders. 🤝
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Global Public Affairs team, Danone’s PA community across Europe, and other internal functions. 🌍
- Trade Associations Representation: Participate in working groups of key European trade associations, if needed. 🏛️
- Strategic Tools Development: Create and update strategic tools such as policy mappings, briefings, and internal communication materials. 🛠️

What We're Looking For: 🌟
Education: University degree in Political Science, European Studies, Economics, Food or Nutrition Science, or related fields. 🎓
Public Affairs Knowledge: Understanding of public affairs and how they support business objectives. 📚
EU Policy Interest: Keen interest in EU public policy and a solid understanding of how EU institutions function. 🇪🇺
Analytical Skills: Ability to research, organize, and synthesize complex information. 🔍
Communication Skills: Clear, adaptable communication in both written and oral forms for diverse audiences. 🗣️✍️
Languages: Fluency in written & spoken English, French and/or Dutch is a plus. 🏳️🌈
Organizational Skills: Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and contribute to team deliverables. 📅
Soft Skills: Proactive mindset, team spirit, autonomy, resilience, and a positive attitude. 💪😊

- Have never completed a V.I.E before 🚫
