Downstream & COMAN Manager
As a Downstream & COMAN Manager, you will ensure end‑to‑end product quality across the cold chain by leading audits, securing compliance in storage and transport, managing non‑conformities, and driving continuous improvement of Quality KPIs and procedures. I also oversee co‑manufacturer quality systems, handle deviations, support audits, strengthen capabilities, and manage the qualification of new co‑manufacturers according to Danone standards.
As a Downstream & COMAN Manager, you will be doing the following activities:
- Managing and leading external audits for the cold chain (Danone Distribution Centers and trucks), with cross‑functional coordination across Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, and Industrial teams when needed.
- Ensuring product storage conditions are maintained according to standards throughout the supply chain (DCs and trucks) up to the point of sale.
- Ensuring supply chain processes comply with Danone requirements for storage, transportation, and handling.
- Managing quality within supply‑chain connection points, including non‑conformities, leading investigations, and following up on corrective action plans.
- Monitoring performance against Quality requirements in the supply chain to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Reviewing and updating Quality SOPs, processes, and systems at the supply‑chain level.
- Leading validation and verification activities for new projects impacting QFS within the supply chain.
- Establishing Quality KPIs at the supply chain and market levels in line with Danone standards and following up improvement action plans.
Accountable for Co‑Manufacturing Quality Management System:
- Maintaining product compliance at co‑manufacturing sites according to Danone standards.
- Handling process deviations or violations at/from co‑manufacturers (e.g., contamination cases).
- Supporting and participating in Danone audit teams for co‑manufacturer audits (FSI global Danone audits).
- Driving co‑manufacturer development plans, including training and process verification programs.
- Leading the qualification and introduction of new co‑manufacturers according to approval procedures in collaboration with FS, C&P, and R&I teams.
About you
Education: Food science & Technology, Pharmacy or Agriculture
minimum 4 years of experience in FMCG
