The Paid Search Manager will drive Danone’s global capability in search, ensuring that search expertise is built and applied consistently across the company and its agency ecosystem. The role focuses on evolving Danone’s search approach in the new search world, as well as orchestrating synergies between the Media team, Platforms & Services team, and agency partners.
Main responsibilities
Beyond traditional SEM, this role will build connections across retail/e-commerce search, social search, and LLM search. Ensuring that Danone brands are visible and relevant, and optimised wherever consumers are looking. This role includes optimising for AI powered platforms, requiring a unified strategic approach across paid owned and earned to achieve success.
This is a capability-building and orchestration role: On the one hand you’re ensuring that Danone has the playbooks, governance, and partnerships in place for world-class search. On the other hand you are challenging and developing our agency system to make sure they deliver top execution.
Key deliverables
Main interactions
Internal: Media teams (Global & Local), Global Category teams, Platforms & Services team, Brand teams, Content Factory, E-commerce teams, Data & Analytics, IT/Martech, Influence & Advocacy.
External: Media and digital agencies, retail media partners (Amazon, Walmart, Carrefour, etc.), social platforms (Google, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), search engine partners.
Note: This role can be based at our offices in either the Netherlands or France.
