Join our HR team at Danone Place Amsterdam (DPA) office, one of our global HQ located in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. As the HR project Intern, you will work side by side with the People cycles & HR project manager and the HR coordinators in the HR project team. Your mission is to learn about and support in the day-to-day HR management activities and ongoing projects.
So, what will be your main tasks?
- Coordinate and Manage the Onboarding Process of New hires
- Coordinate the Offboarding Process of DPA interns and (partially) employees
- Be the first point of contact for the DPA intern population, providing guidance for interns and support on various engagement initiatives.
- Get to know the HR Business Partner role – taking responsibility for the intern population with HR operational requests
- Work in close coordination with HR project team and HR manager on people cycles and creating employee-related reports
- Drive operational processes and diverse projects supporting the HR teams
- Learn and contribute to the HR cycles— from Performance Review, Development Conversations, Annual Salary Review, and more.
Next to the above, you will be able to collaborate in local and global projects, you are encouraged to come up with new ideas and bring them to life! Also, you can shape your objectives and learning goals based on your interests in different areas in HR. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams, gaining insights and experience across different functions within the organization. This allows you to tailor your internship experience to your career aspirations and develop a well-rounded skill set to start your career in HR!

About you
- You are currently a Bachelor/Master student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or any other related field.
- You possess great communication skills and enjoy interacting with numerous stakeholders
- You are proactive, enthusiastic, and not afraid to ask questions.
- Comfort in working within a dynamic international environment
- You are a self-starter who can bring your own ideas and work independently while being a team player.
- You are data-driven and proficient in using Excel and PowerPoint
As an HR Projects intern, engaging with multiple stakeholders will be second nature to you. You can stay organized and have great people skills. On top of that? You’re an energetic person who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.
There are also some compulsory requirements:
- Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
- You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
- Ideally available to start in July/August for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
- You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 2 days per week
