In this internship, you will be part of the Export Documentation team, within our Nutricia Global Distribution & Logistics department. Our purpose is to ensure compliant and efficient export documentation for shipments outside the European Union. During this internship, you will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders and support key logistics and documentation processes.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting daily logistics and export documentation operations, including stakeholder coordination (e.g. warehouses, supply points, carriers);
  • Learning about customs procedures and international trade compliance, and maintaining alignment with import permits via regular CBU communication;
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance through coordination with local authorities such as NVWA and COKZ;
  • Working with SAP and contributing to database updates and documentation accuracy;
  • Reviewing and updating internship work instructions, while supporting KPI tracking and performance analysis;
  • Contributing to strategic projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.

About you

As an Export Documentation Intern, you’re someone who brings precision, curiosity, and a proactive mindset to the table. You enjoy working independently, communicating clearly, and diving into details. You’re eager to learn, especially in a multicultural environment, and you’re comfortable engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. You're confident working with advanced Excel and open to expanding your skills with tools like SAP to support your work.

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student in Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Transportation, International Business, Business Administration or another relevant field during the whole internship period;
  • You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
  • Ideally available to start in November/ December 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English- spoken and written; Dutch is considered as a plus;
  • You are able to work from our Zoetermeer office, at least 2 days per week.
