Danone Nordics & Baltics is looking for a proactive Public Affairs and Communications Manager to join our Corporate Affairs team on a temporary contract. In this role, you will work at the intersection of public policy, external corporate communication and strategic stakeholder engagement, helping to strengthen the Danone corporate brand and bring our purpose driven commitments to life externally.
The role is based in Stockholm, Solna and is a temporary position from May 2026 until April 2027.
You will work on the public affairs and external communications agenda for the Nordic and Baltic region and report to the General Secretary for Nordics and Baltics, with a dotted line to the Corporate Affairs Director for Ireland. You will act as a partner to the business and key stakeholders, while also serving as a liaison to developments and perspectives outside of Danone.
About the job:
In this position you will be responsible for the following:
Contribute to the overall Corporate Affairs strategy in the Nordic and Baltic region, including the Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Strategy.
Public Affairs
Monitor policy development across the Nordic & Baltic region that are relevant to Danone’s business priorities, such as dietary guidelines, health taxes, nutrition topics relevant for our Specialized Nutrition category.
Conduct policy analysis and prepare insights, stakeholder mappings or other that could be relevant for internal decision making on public affairs projects.
Implement and drive the 2026 advocacy plans and stakeholder engagement strateguse.
Coordinate with Danone's European public affairs team to ensure aligned position and messaging.
Corporate Communications
Implement the corporate communication plan, including PR campaigns and other external communication activities that strengthen Danone’s corporate reputation.
Draft press materials, external statements, message houses, media Q&As and thought leadership content.
Manage relationships with PR agencies and the internal Global Communications Network.
Support reactive communication, including handling media enquiries.
Contribute to crisis-preparedness messaging.

Fluent in Swedish and English.
Experience from Food industry, FMCG or Pharmaceuticals is highly valued.
Experience working for an international company is highly valued.
