About you

Demand Planning Manager will lead demand planning and forecasting for DSN Singapore and responsible for delivering accurate product demand forecasts aligned with company strategy and Sales & Marketing plans, ensuring full accountability for SG Demand Planning.

 

Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting

  • Lead the Demand Planning for SG market.
  • To provide and generate demand forecast of the company by respective sales channels by using the past sales pattern/trend.
  • Accountable for SG Demand Planning.
  • To include any volume incremental on events and promotion activities that organize by trade marketing and marketing into account in monthly forecast update.
  • To assess R&O for market based on data/ trend and market insights to support decision-making.
  • To coordinate with supply planning on the forecast upload in order to drive materials especially on long lead time item.

Stocks Management

  • To work with customer service team on stock allocation when facing tight supply of finished goods which might due to quality or materials shortage issue, thus to improve customer service level.
  • To monitor aging stock for finished goods and liaise with Sales and Marketing on the short shelf life FG thus to reduce potential write off due to inaccurate of the forecast accuracy for certain SKUs.
  • To work with distributor on the stock arrangement, PIC for Supply Chain on operation matters with distributor.

S&OP Process

  • To execute the S&OP process that already identifies and set.
  • To review the Sell in volume that align in GPS.

New Launches and Phase In Phase Out

  • Coordinate New Launches and Phase In Phase Out for commercial team.
  • To conduct PIPO for NPD/ Phase out product with commercial team.
  • To minimize return and write off both from SP and at trade.

Business management

  • To generate the best possible demand forecast for all products to reflect the latest sales trends in each area, including all associated unconstraint and constraint.
  • Analyze and review the various input factors such as market situation, sales trend, event, baseline impact etc. by gathering the information from field and other sources in order to ensure the best demand forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyze demand plan accuracy to identify areas of possible improvement, and take or propose corrective measures as well as ensuring the statistical forecasting model and processing planning module (both of master data and transition data to concerning network).
  • To review and monitor significant deviations to demand in the recent past, short-term and daily sales, which require corrective actions, managing exception issues such as allocation management etc. that require intervention on demand and/or operation (supply) side in order to respect customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and providing sales data in detail, discounts per channel/account and providing annual budget, sales target in each month.
  • Be advisor among Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing team.

Business Services Relationship 

  • To liaise with and build a strong relationship with ALL the business partners.

Requirements:

  • Possess a recognized Bachelor Degree in business administration or related discipline. 
  • Minimum 7 years in Demand Planning and Sales experience.
  • Supervisory experience is added advantage.  
  • Experience in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment, preferably from SN environment.
  • Experience in using SAP system.
  • Ability to analyze data for business insight.
  • Ability to connect and understand the business need.
  • Computer literate – Proficient in Excel, Power point presentation, Words, SAP, Power BI.
  • Managing cross functional stakeholders.
  • Proactive, agile, able to work with high level of stress, rigour follow up and close action.
  • Growth mindset and able to think outside the box.
