• Manage permits, customs and government agencies related to import and export for new products, renewals and where issues encountered.
• Liaise with shipping/logistics to ensure Shipping document monitoring / verification for port clearance and shipments clearance on time where issues encountered.
• Tracking of Customs clearance and related activities with 3PL and close monitoring for all the import and export shipments with appointed Service Provider to ensure all the shipment arrive on time.
• Manage/Coordinate with warehouse & forwarders for shipments whenever required.
• Monitoring of Import and Export Permits & health cert monitoring.
• Prepare Custom/DVS reports and other documentation where required for tax exemption purposes, renewal of permits.
• Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the company strategy.
• Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate with the company business plan and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
• To review the monthly KPI/SLA performance for both Import and Export with internal stakeholder and provide feedback to 3PL or appointed Service Provider on the gap and area of improvement.
• Identify and implement logistics optimization opportunities at markets.
• Supports shipping matters related to new products and project management as assigned.
• Coordinates team meetings, ensures all info is documented and saved properly on shipping matters
• Drive/coordinate/setup integration matters arising and progress meetings with internal and external agencies.
• Up to date legislations and end to end due diligence of import/export changes monitoring to ensure business operations continuity.
• To lead and support the Inbound and outbound complaint investigation with 3PL and turnaround within the agreed timeframe.
• Co-ordinate DVS registration for new product importation.
• Other areas related to permit applications and follow up where applicable for both Inbound and Outbound shipping.
• Act as point the Single Point of Contract for internal, external agencies/clients for matters related to import and export.

• Proven work experience especially in management of 3rd party operations/systems/team and dealing with government stakeholders.
• Shipping management experience.
• Strong communication ability, including written & spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Good multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Digital fluency.
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP logistics/inventory applications.
• Working knowledge of health service and/or interest in health/consumer wellbeing is an advantage.
