Within our Customer Service & Logistics team, we are looking for a highly motivated intern who is eager to contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement. In this role, you will support the team in daily operations while also playing an active role in improving key logistics processes.

 

As a Customer Service & Logistics Intern, you will support both operational execution and process improvement initiatives within the team. Your responsibilities will include:

 

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in the logistics invoicing process
  • Support the implementation of improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control
  • Analyze and improve the logistics complaint handling process, focusing on root cause identification and structural solutions to secure an improved time to closure
  • Contribute to building more robust and standardized processes with clear documentation

 

 

Operational CS Team Support

  • Support daily Customer Service and Logistics activities to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment to distributors
  • Assist in various order processing, documentation checks, and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support issue resolution and escalation handling in collaboration with the team
  • Support maintain high service levels (e.g. OTIF, Customer Fill Rate) through proactive follow-up

 

Team & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Customer Service, Logistics, Planning teams, and external partners
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Support ad-hoc projects and team initiatives when required

About you

You are a Bachelor or Master student in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, with strong analytical skills and a structured way of working. You have a proactive, hands-on mindset and are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly and feel comfortable working in an international setting. You also have good Excel skills; experience with Power BI is a plus but not required.

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
  • You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
  • In the case of non-EU citizens, it is mandatory to provide a 3-party internship agreement signed by your university;
  • Ideally available to start in July/August 2026 for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English - spoken and written; Spanish or Russian are considered as a plus;
  • You are able to work from our Rijswijk office, at least 2 days per week.
