You will have the chance to support our Topline (Marketing and Sales) Controlling Finance team in our Specialized Nutrition Unit at Danone. You will be part of a highly motivated, international team and you will work at our office in Hoofddorp, NL.

You will have the opportunity to learn and gain hands on experience on the basics of a Topline Controlling role within a multinational company. Analyzing, presenting conclusions & recommendations are essential for this position and your development as a Finance Controller within Danone. You will be frequently interacting with diverse teams across the organization such as Global Marketing and Sales. Within Finance, we are the business partners for innovative and topline initiatives across the group and play a key role in the company’s strategy. For your development you will have access to a wide range of company’s tools with an extensive range of different trainings and e-learnings where you can deep dive in many fields of expertise. In addition, you will have expert guidance and support from your business manager and the team.

Throughout this internship, you will have to prove yourself being able to adapt to the challenging Topline controlling environment and appear as a key business partner to the teams.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

• Be part of monthly closures – analysis, consolidation, and animation of the actual and forecasted Net Sales Performance of the Specialized Nutrition Unit.
• Support with rolling-out forecasts and strategic planning – consolidate, analyze and communicate figures appropriately to the right stakeholders
• Design reports – build financial dashboards (mainly through PowerBI tool) for the attention of the leadership team
• Generate the A&P Reporting, support the different stakeholders & give guidance to the teams regarding central A&P budget spending

Next to this, you will have the opportunity to take part in transversal projects with different finance stakeholders. Your line manager will be Eva Kotto. Eva is working at Danone for 6.5 years holding several different roles within finance, with the latest being Category Performance Finance Analyst for Global Category Performance Finance Team. She appreciates open communication, organizational skills, creativity  and eagerness to learn.

You should be an enthusiastic self-starter who is organized, have an eye for details, is not afraid to work autonomously and knows how to prioritize & respect deadlines. You are an enrolled Bachelors/Masters student in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or any other relevant field. You have:

• An analytical mindset with excellent Excel skills (including vlookups and pivot tables);
• You are proactive, open-minded motivated and open to learn;
• Strong communication skills;
• Excellent attention tor detail & commitment to deliver high quality and accurate results;
• The ability to challenge situations, act with resilience and manage stakeholders;
• Great team spirit;
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• You are an enrolled Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period (non-EU citizens are only eligible to apply if they are enrolled in a Dutch university);
• You are fluent in English – oral and written;
• You are available for at least 6 months, 5 days per week;
• You are able to work from the office at Hoofddorp atleast 2 times per week;
• Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN number.

We Offer

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
