Within the Supply Chain team, reporting to the Dairy Production Planning Manager, we are looking for a Junior Planner. The latter's primary mandate will be to plan the deployment activities of our products in our external distribution centers and to coordinate copacking activities.

The Junior Planner will be responsible for executing this mandate while meeting Danone Canada's ambitious customer service level objectives while limiting product losses.

More specifically, you will have two mandates:

Operational:

• Deploy our products in the right quantity and at the right time to the various warehouses
• Organize weekly copack activities with our partners considering capacity limits, costs, and other constraints
• Measure vendor performance and identify deviations from the plan
• Collaborate with the customer service team and the factory to schedule MTO customer requests
• Establish a trustful relationship with various suppliers

Optimization :

• Review the copacking needs planning process to optimize cross-functional information exchange (customer service, logistics, supply planning) while maintaining optimal inventory levels
• Participate in the implementation of a new deployment process to optimize finished product inventory levels in warehouses by maximizing the use of systems and tools
• Be involved in the integration of new planning systems/tools

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Professional experience in supply chain (an asset)
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, processes and systems including SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office pack, including excel and PowerBI
• Bilingual (spoken and written) in French and English
• Effective communication
