As a Business Development Manager - Walmart, you will be accountable for:
Developing and implementing business strategies to increase product distribution, sales, and profitability. You will be responsible for managing regional accounts, supporting business planning, and providing analyses to drive growth. Additionally, as a sales analyst, you will assist your team with all activities related to the client account. This role combines client relationship management with analytical support for sales operations.
More specifically:
- Contribute to the planning and daily management of Net Sales (CANN), Volume & Profits (ROP) processes through required tasks and initiatives.
- Provide accurate analysis and visibility on new trends in the category, issues, risks and opportunities to the CBT.
- Work with customers and BDMs to accurately and efficiently complete internal and external templates and forms.
- Ensure the maintenance and compensation of the deductions within the expected deadlines while supporting the administrative team.
- Manage day to day tasks and initiatives with regional accounts to ensure effective and efficient execution while building effective relationships and managing the daily selling process.
- Communicate account priorities and engage the cross functional teams (sales strategy, demand planning, finance, and supply chain) to drive business results.
- Coordinate and lead the execution of regular customer appointments in presenting new products, programs, pricing, and general management of our business.
- Encourage team spirit, contribute to the effectiveness and value of the CBT team.
The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $105,000 CAD. The final salary offered will be determined by factors such as relevant experience and qualifications, internal equity and external market conditions.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and competencies:
- Business degree in administration or equivalent
- Fluent in English. French is an asset.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally in Consumer Package Goods (CPG).
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Presentation effectiveness – ability to define business opportunities, gather appropriate data to support , organize information and deliver to effectively influence key decision maker.
- Ability to plan and organize - ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Strong Excel expertise
- Effectiveness in presentations - ability to identify and define business opportunities, collect data to organize information and build presentations to support decision-maker.
- Pragmatic approach to the problems and challenges encountered with a problem-solving attitude.
- Effectiveness in managing information and communications using various tools and procedures (Excel, PowerPoint, internal planning system, etc.)
