As EU Finance Operations Materials Controller, you are a key member of the EU OPS finance team.

About the Job

You will report to the EU Head of Material Controlling.

Your key missions will notably include:

Co-Manufacturing (50%)

• Lead the annual forecast process for standard pricing across the EU region.
• Oversee Margin Variance Analysis (MVA), working closely with Cycles & Procurement teams, local finance teams, and stakeholders for MVA reporting, including analysis of market trends and productivity metrics.
• Provide financial partnership, guidance and support to the EU C&P and Operations teams:

• Participate in category team meetings, presenting financial insights and actionable recommendations.
• Support the development of business cases for supplier selection, supplier changes, and insourcing/outsourcing of manufacturing operations, while assisting in evaluating make-or-buy decisions

Sustainability & Danone Impact Journey (25%)

• Lead financial planning, reporting, analysis, and consolidation for the EU region.
• Ensure consistency and alignment of financial reporting with Nature Sustainability Tracker.
• Support alignment of investments with sustainability and carbon reduction goals, connecting investments with carbon reduction objectives
• Provide visibility and support for local tax-related matters and animations.

Raw and Packaging Materials Analysis (25%)

• Support the planning, reporting, analysis, and consolidation for the EU region.
• Ensure consistency and alignment of financial reporting with Global Cycles & Procurement.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Relevant Finance experience in a complex, multinational context (factory/operations controlling is a plus)

- Academic degree and working level with a track record of performance.

- Excellent analytical skills, rigorous, accurate and strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially to non-finance, building effective relationships from shopfloor to CODI based on trust, integrity and positive energy.

- Open-minded, reliable, proactive and team-oriented personality.

- Strong communication and technical skills are required to connect to other finance teams and manage financial topics within the organization.
