About the job

Global Engineering aims at providing business with expertise in designing technical solutions to sustainably grow, improve profitability and maintain license to operate on all Danone categories (Dairy, Waters, Specialised Nutrition, Plant Based) and geographies.

CIP United program is the way Danone is activating their sites to ensure that equipments are correctly designed & operated to ensure food safety and performance around the CIP.

The Global Engineering team recruits a Process engineer with specific qualifications in CIP & Hygienic design.

This position is based in Amsterdam (Paris can be an alternative).

 MISSION

Reporting to Hygienic & Aseptic design manager, the Process Engineer CIP & Hygienic design contributes to the deployment and monitoring of CIP United Program, leading more specifically its Performance pillar. They provides technical expertise to support the manufacturing network in that journey and contributes to the development of tools, methods and standards in that field.

Your main accountability will be:

  • As Program leader for Performance pillar CIP United, you define and deploy tools, KPI’s and technical solutions to secure and improve manufacturing CIP practices across the factory network
    • Scout, select and define technical solution leveraging suppliers, internal technical teams (engineering, manufacturing, QFS, R&I)
    • Size business cases with factories, Capex and finance teams
    • Track & support implementation through the manufacturing network & CIP communities
  • Acting as technical authority in the scope of CIP and hygienic design, you
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards and specifications in accordance to Danone Operation critical KPIs for Safety, Quality, Danone Impact Journey and Efficiency
    • Are accountable of technical design and qualification in Capex projects led by Global Engineering when required.
    • Provide technical assistance for factory CIP assessment, trouble shooting when needed or training.
    • Contribute to animate CIP United community & follow-up of the program implementation on the shopfloor.

About you

  • Education: engineer background, ideally in food industries OR similar work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience: 
    • 5-10 years in similar categories area with shopfloor experience of process engineering projects, process manager, Neptune/Poseidon/CIP United leader.
    • Experience in leading transversal programs with factories is a plus.
  • Whatever your background, strong willingness to acquire technical skills in cleaning, sanitation, hygienic design with mechanical, automation & food safety aptitude is required.
  • You are proficient in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project and powerBI.
  • Fluent in English
  • Available for travel worldwide (can reach 30% at some point)

    • Team player as well as self-starter and initiative mindset
    • Naturally organized and self-disciplined to manage simultaneously multiple projects and stakeholders.
    • Ability to lead / animate a network towards one goal, with obsession to get things done

    • Understand adaptation need to multicultural teams
    • Ability to use knowledge, facts, data, benchmarks and professional insights to effectively solve problems and put in best practices solutions.
    • Capable to teach & create teaching tools
