Where do you want to work?

HI, I’M ERIC!

I'm Danone Academy's Global Learning Director

I have the priviledge of helping employees be better at their jobs. Our academy works with colleagues around the world to help everyone develop and deliver our mission.

MY JOURNEY SO FAR

  • Joined in 2017
  • Learning Manager Marketing and Sales
  • Global Senior Learning Manager
  • Global Learning Director

I’M ENABLING EMPLOYEES TO BUILD OUR FUTURE

I work with different teams to identify and deliver their training needs, globally, across the business. I love seeing people learn, find the right solution, think outside the box and be part of making that happen. Our learning programs are really embedding our "One Planet. One Health" vision into the company. My work has a positive impact on thousands of employees and that's a great feeling.

DANONE TRULY PUTS ITS PEOPLE FIRST

Danone is a global citizen, with humanism at its core. We live and breathe our company values with shared responsibility and mutual respect. There's a great flexibility and work-life balance, you're free to organise your schedule and do what you think is best. In a business of this size, you might expect that making personal connections would be difficult, but the opposite is true.

CHANGE IS PART OF OUR DAY-TO-DAY JOURNEY

In the COVID crisis, I was spearheading the team’s effort to pivot towards more virtual classrooms and partnering with local teams to roll it out globally. It was great, because even though this wasn’t my core role, I embraced the challenge, and got to work with new colleagues and learned new things. At Danone, there are always opportunities to work outside of your job description. If you want to, you can really make things happen.

WE LEARN FROM EACH OTHER AND HELP EACH OTHER GROW

On a daily basis, I probably speak to more nationalities than the head of the European Commission! It's hard not to grow when you are part of such a diverse sharing culture. Plus, we have access to internal and external learning modules, based on our individual interests, which is an endless source of inspiration.
