Danone MENA is looking for a dynamic and driven Customer Service Coordinator to join our Operation Team in Algeria.

 

This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence across the Order Management Cycle, enhancing product availability, and delivering superior customer service.

As a key player in our logistics and customer operations, you will engage with distributors, drive efficiencies, and lead continuous improvements in service delivery. 

Role Objectives

  • Ensure high performance across the Order Management Cycle, improving product availability and response times.
  • Engage effectively with distributors to streamline order management.
  • Drive efficiencies in order handling and contribute to improved customer service levels.
  • Lead improvements in documentation processing lead times.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Order Management

  • Manage customer orders: receipt, review, processing, and archiving.
  • Reconcile orders with distributors across assigned markets to align quantities and actions.
  • Coordinate monthly dispatch expectations with Supply Planning.
  • Maintain accuracy of the Order to Cash system (R3) with monthly validations.
  • Handle complaints, product returns, damages, and claims.
  • Monitor market returns and warehouse expiry counts.
  • Track shipments and ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.
  • Follow up on unmoved or delayed shipments.
  • Deploy tracking tools from supply points to destination countries.
  • Execute monthly air freight plans.
  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders regarding order status.
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer service operations.
  • Maintain and update the master file and R3 system.
  • Own and annually review the Supply Chain SOP.

About you

To be successful in the role you should ideally have: 

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 2 years of seniority in a similar position.

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Mobility

Candidates should be open to move within the region or outside the region with Danone in 3-4 years if such an opportunity will arise which will contribute to his/her career growth.
