About the job

We are looking for a highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and collaborative DBS Global Controlling & Performance Manager to join our team.

In this pivotal role, you will partner with Service Line leaders and DBS Zones worldwide to ensure accurate cost steering, robust financial processes, and consistent performance management across the global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global DBS cost monitoring, driving high-quality cost control processes across Service Lines and Zones,
  • Ensure the accuracy of actuals and forecasts for DBS Central team costs, split appropriately by Service Line,
  • Own month‑end close activities, including Magnitude reporting for DBS,
  • Collaborate closely with budget owners to investigate and resolve variances,
  • Analyze monthly cost and FTE performance across all Service Lines and Zones and present consolidated insights to leadership,
  • Lead performance discussions with Service Line heads, covering both Central and Zone-level results,
  • Prepare and consolidate global performance decks, including bridges, commentary, and KPIs,
  • Co‑lead the monthly Service Excellence meetings with the DBS Controlling Lead, ensuring alignment with Corporate Controlling and stakeholders,
  • Drive automation and process efficiency, improving reporting tools, forecasting models, and global controlling processes. (Power BI proficiency is a plus)

About you

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to simplify complex financial data into clear, actionable insights,
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and confidence presenting to senior leadership,
  • Full professional fluency in English (written & spoken),
  • Advanced Excel skills; solid experience with major ERPs,
  • Proven experience managing month‑end closing, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cost/FTE analysis,
  • Process-focused mindset with a passion for improvement and global standardization; experience with Power BI is a plus,
  • Proactive, collaborative, and influential—able to partner effectively with local controlling teams worldwide.
