We currently have an opportunity for an Education & Training Partner role within the Human Resources (HR) team.

 

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Plants Training requirements. To analyse development needs in line with IWS standards, role requirements and site strategy then coordinate, follow up and support the Training activities for the site ensuring legal, ethical, technical and functional compliance.

 

You will be joining a dynamic, winning team, with a keen focus on delivering in the safest way possible.  It’s a busy department, with lots of variety in the activities in which you would be involved.  This is a highly visible position within our company; you will interact widely with various stakeholders. Challenge, innovate, convince, and find alignment when needed.

You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, have strong communication skills, with the ability to prioritise and think ahead.

 

The following qualifications/skills are required:

  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as a collaborator with the ability to offer new ideas
  • Methodical in approach to work and enjoy following a process.
  • Excellent diligence.
  • Background in L&D/HR Administrator/Hr Coordinator/Training.
  • Able to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to.
  • Confident and effective telephone and presentational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills that enable collaboration with people at all levels of an organisation, and the ability to motivate others and change people's attitudes when necessary.
  • Analysing, evaluating and problem solving.
  • Accurate data input skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio etc).
  • Experience in continuous improvement practices.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team working skills and a collaborative approach to learning.
  • Organisational and planning skills to manage time and meet deadlines and objectives and the ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Good time-keeping skills and the ability to multitask to effectively manage training schedules.

  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and innovative approach to work.
  • Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills and a passion for continuing learning and development.

Critical experience required:

 

The successful applicant must have strong people skills with an outgoing personality to match that of a hardworking, but fun office environment. Ideally, all applicants will have experience of an administrative role, as a trainer, training facilitator or coordinating multiple training events in a manufacturing setting

  • Proven work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of owning learning management systems.
  • Proven ability to complete training cycles (plan, coordinate, monitor and evaluate.
  • Good working knowledge of training methods.
  • A strong customer-focused background.
  • People Leader experience beneficial.
