The Senior Manager, Omni-Channel Marketing, leads the development of integrated omni-channel strategies and plans, connecting brand, shopper, media, digital commerce, and customer activation into a unified engine that drives brand growth, conversion, and enables best-in-class execution. Working collaboratively with Brand Marketing, Media, Commercial, Sales, Customers and agencies, to deliver innovative OMNI marketing programs rooted in brand strategy, consumer insights and shopper best-practices. 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Omni-Channel Strategy and Thought Leadership

  • Lead the OMNI Channel strategy and roadmap for category and shopper initiatives at the national level, translating brand priorities into integrated OMNI plans that align with enterprise and customer goals. Influences and inspires cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

  • Champion innovation and best practices in omnichannel marketing and shopper engagement, serving as a thought leader and leveraging key shopper, consumer, and digital insights.

2. Shopper-Facing Creative Excellence & Agency Management

  • Lead the development, briefing, and execution of impactful shopper-facing campaigns and programs, ensuring creative excellence and alignment with brand strategy, brand visual identity and distinctive assets. Creates innovative merchandising tools that drive high impact, conversion and positive ROI.

  • Ensure national programs are seamlessly adapted and integrated into customer-specific executions, delivering tailored solutions that drive conversion and loyalty.

  • Manage external agency relationships, setting clear expectations and fostering partnerships that deliver innovative, high-quality, and timely outputs.

  • Negotiate and oversee agency contracts while ensuring alignment with brand standards and budget requirements.

3. Annual Omni Plans, Performance Management & Post-Mortems

  • Develops the annual strategic OMNI channel calendar and plans, aligned with Brand Marketing and Commercial Teams and in-line with Customer’s own programs and imperatives. 

  • Delivers strong analytics, actively monitor performance metrics, measures execution and ROI.  Leads post-mortem reviews and provides actionable recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.

4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Proven track record leading, coaching and developing teams. Build and empower a high-performing omni-channel marketing team, cultivating a supportive and inclusive environment.

  • Inspire and influence cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous growth and knowledge sharing.

  • Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders to align strategic priorities, annual plans, and communicate results.

5. Budget & Resource Management

  • Oversee omni-channel marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and support strategic initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, implementing best practices in financial stewardship.

 

The annual base salary range for this position is $95,000.00 to $145,000.00 CAD. The final salary offered will be determined by factors such as relevant experience and qualifications, internal equity and external market conditions.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in omni-channel marketing, shopper marketing, or related disciplines in marketing, preferably within CPG or retail environments.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing shopper marketing/Omni programs delivering measurable business results
  • Proven track record leading, coaching and developing teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in leveraging consumer insights, analytics, and digital tools to inform strategy and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and external partners.
  • Fluent in English, French an asset
