About the job

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams.   We are currently looking to hire a Production Operator based in Jacksonville, Florida!  

 

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

 

  • You will ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format and completed with all required information
  • You will maintain working knowledge of all value stream equipment to include all support equipment, ability to troubleshoot, make minor adjustments and repairs using basic tools
  • You will monitor equipment for malfunctions and defects, repairing and solving minor problems without assistance and eliminating potential threats to production
  • You will communicate effectively with supervisors and maintenance personnel regarding recurring problems and needs for repair
  • You will utilize continuous improvement mindset, actively participate in identifying and correcting opportunities to improve processes including participation in the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, the creation and maintenance of preventative maintenance standards, the writing of One Point Lessons, and participation in continuous improvement methodology events

About you

For this role, you will need: 

 

  • You will have a High School education or equivalent
  • You will be able to work various hours and shifts
  • You will be able to work overtime when required
  • You will be able to read and understand written instructions and to keep accurate written records
  • You will be able to learn all functions of job within a reasonable amount of time
  • You will be required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk and hear. 
  • You will need to be able to lift or move up to 60 pounds.
