The Key Account Manager will drive sales & retail strategies to grow Danone business within 2 Albertson’s Sales Divisions. This position will lead the Divisions across the full Danone portfolio.  The Key Account Manager will understand customer business needs and build short and long-term strategies that support those goals while achieving company sales targets and financial expectations. This individual will lead, communicate, and coordinate with the internal national team to ensure total Albertsons goals are achieved.

 

This is a unique position that provides responsibility for leading execution across Danone’s full portfolio at 2 separate Albertson’s divisions. This individual will approach the business with a high passion for execution and action with detailed business development and business management strategies. He/she should have a strong skillset in developing relationships, communication, motivating others, and working cross-functionally that leads to a better overall team dynamic. This individual has experience in retail, building business plans, requiring net sales, volume and trade planning forecasting, by working with various technologies such as Power BI/IRI, KANTAR, IRI, MS excel, MicroStrategy and MS PowerPoint.

 

You will:

  • Grow Danone’s retail sales to achieve divisional targets
  • Build and execute strategic plans across the full Danone Portfolio
  • Develop retail strategies & priorities that are aligned to national retail plans
  • Work with Acosta team on execution expectations & KPI results
  • Communicate in a timely fashion both written and verbally with customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring that both good news and bad news is shared with equal level of detail.  

 

You will be accountable for:

  • Achieving retail KPI targets, net sales targets, trade targets, POS & share targets
  • Proactively analyze potential problems to avoid emergency situations.
  • Lead business planning efforts through frequent connectivity and alignment with the Sales Planning team, ensuring trade and volume is properly planned for and secured
  • Work within Albertsons, SAP, Power BI, RW3, KANTAR and MicroStrategy systems to plan
  • Design sales presentations around specific retail and customer needs
  • P&L Management – trade spend, track performance, growth rates, etc
  • Support sales and planning efforts with Supervisor this includes but is not limited to Scrubbing, Hi Radius entry.

 

This position is based in Colorado.

 

The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000 commensurate with experience. About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, communications or business-related major preferred
  • 1-3 years of CPG experience with a strong knowledge of business management
  • Fluent Microsoft Excel with an ability to interpret P&Ls as well as other financial statements, and experience building offline planning tools to track sales on a weekly cadence
  • Fluency preferred with Kantar and/or other sales planning tools
  • Experience working cross-functionally and leadership of non-direct reports
  • Limited travel
