Our Danone North America Chatsworth, California plant produces Follow Your Heart’s, Boursin and Silk Products for the U.S. and Canada markets. The plant was established in 1988 and acquired by Danone in 2021. 

Our Facility’s story begins with Follow Your Heart. Follow Your Heart started in 1970 as a seven-seat food bar concession in the back corner of a small Canoga Park health food store, and quickly grew to become an icon in the early Southern California natural foods movement.

In keeping with our environmentally conscious values, Follow Your Heart is the first plant-based manufacturing facility in the U.S. to achieve Platinum Level Zero Waste Certification by Green Business Certification Incorporated. In addition, our facility is solar powered, with over 2,000 solar panels on the roofs of our buildings generating over 500,000 kWH of green energy per year.

This West Coast producer, located in the City of Industry, Ca., is responsible for some Danone favorites such as Silk Beverage, STōK Coffee, and International Delight Creamer.

This 284,000-square-foot manufacturing plant was established in 1986. Its diverse group of 336 employees has been selected as the pilot plant to transition to the IWS Integrated work system) model. This world-class operation model focuses on improving manufacturing reliability while focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and reducing costs.

Every month, the City of Industry Plant identifies exemplary individuals through its employee recognition program as employees of the month, safety champion, or quality champion. Every quarter, the City of Industry plant celebrates employees for their years of service.

Our Dallas Plant produces a diverse range of essential dairy and plant-based products that positively impact people's lives. Our plant produces Silk, International Delight, STōK Coffee, So Delicious dairy-free products and a wide variety of toppers.

The plant is divided into a 357,000-square-foot main section and a 252,000-square-foot Topper production area. Our dedicated team of approximately 575 works collaboratively to ensure the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and customer care.

Our DuBois, Pennsylvania plant produces Silk dairy-free yogurt, So Delicious Dairy Free and Harmless Harvest Dairy-Free Yogurt. Established in 2014, the 189,158-square-foot plant has 145 employees. The DuBois plant is the only Danone North America producer of plant-based yogurt.

The DuBois plant has an exciting history! Part of the facility was once an airport and a section of the original airport hangar is still part of our building.   

Our Springfield, Oregon plant produces So Delicious Dairy Free ice cream, including So Delicious ice cream bars, sandwiches, pints, and quarts and the famous Cocowhip!

Established in 1987 as Turtle Mountain, the plant complex sits on 2.5 acres and has 150 employees. The Springfield Danone plant is the only plant-based frozen dessert plant in North America!

The Fort Worth, Texas plant produces Danimals Kid’s Yogurts and Smoothies, Activia Probiotic Yogurt and YoCrunch Yogurt with Toppings. Home to about 210 employees, the 22,000-square-foot plant was established in 1925 and sits on 10.9 acres.

Our Jacksonville, Florida plant produces Silk dairy and dairy-free beverages, Land O’ Lakes Half & Half, and International Delight iced coffee and coffee creamers The 115,025-square-foot plant has 150  employees and was established in 1948.

Jacksonville is home to many innovations, including the development of Reddi-wip Whipped Cream and Lactaid Whole Milk. It is the first plant in the United States to produce Ultra High Heat Treatment (UHT) milk, a processing method that increases shelf life by heating milk to a higher-than-usual temperature to kill bacteria that may be harmful or cause the milk to spoil.

Our Minster, Ohio, dairy plant manufactures fresh yogurt products including Dannon Fruit on the Bottom, Activia, Oikos, Triple Zero and Danimals. 

Our plant produces approximately 2.2 million pounds of yogurt on a daily basis and requires milk from nearly 40,000 cows to keep the plant producing yogurt!  Our 371,000 sq. ft. location is home to approximately 440 plant employees who work safely and take pride in bringing health through food to as many people as possible.

Our Mount, Crawford, Virginia plant produces International Delight, Horizon Milk and Half & Half, Silk, So Delicious, Dunkin’, STōK Iced Coffee. Home to over 700 employees, the 640,000-square-foot plant sits on 97 acres. Established in 1922, there is still a hitching post onsite for suppliers. 

The Mount Crawford Plant is one of the first locations to run ultra-pasteurized milk. The site produced  152 million gallons of product in2023, we produce 128 SKU’s, ship 334 SKU’s and have 14 production lines. Our on-site warehouse has 36,000 pallet spaces and 36 shipping docks. 

Our Portland, Oregon plant produces YoCream and other brands of frozen yogurt, ice cream, sorbet, and gelato mix for customers, including Costco and Sam’s Club. Established in 1977, the 187,308-square-foot site is home to about 60 employees.

In 2023, we produced almost 40,000 tons. It is the only Danone plant globally that produces these frozen products. Our newest product, Silk Chocolate Almondmilk scoopable, can be enjoyed at many Cold Stone Creamery locations.  

Our Scottsdale, Arizona plant creates branded bulk dispensing equipment for International Delight, Silk and STōK products. The plant was established in 1993 and has been at this location since 2003.

About 23 employees work at this 10,000-square-foot site, which provides customer support to 60,000-plus customer locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Our West Jordan plant has 13 productions lines and produces Activia, Danimals Kid’s Yogurts and Smoothies, Danonino Dairy Snacks, Oikos yogurt, Light + Fit yogurt, Two Good Yogurt, Yo-Crunch, and Remix  Established in 1997,  310 employees call the West Jordan plant home.

The 51.17-acre site was originally a water business that bottled local spring water and now only produces Danone yogurt products.
